Durham NDP supporters who were left without a home team to cheer for when the party's embarrassing candidate in Durham self-destructed by posting obscene comments on the Internet should now seriously consider the Green Party. The CAW Atlantic Canada Area just endorsed Elizabeth May in Central Nova.

Les Holloway, CAW Atlantic Canada Area Director, says "Elizabeth May is an extremely intelligent and articulate woman and will do us proud as a Member of Parliament for Central Nova. She cares about what this unbalanced economy is doing to residents of Nova Scotia and elsewhere."

The CAW also gets the fact that we can't continue building cars and trucks the way the Detroit Three have been doing. In their publications, the CAW promotes awareness on climate change and extended producer responsibility — the concept that producers should take back their products at the end of their useful life and reuse or recycle the materials.
