Mike Schreiner, Leader of the Green Party of Ontario, local farmers of the Holland Marsh and concerned citizens launch a campaign against the construction of a natural gas plant on some of Ontario’s most bountiful farm land.

What: Mike Schreiner joins with farmers of the Holland Marsh Grower’s Association and concerned citizens to speak out against the proposed site of the natural gas power plant.

When: Friday, December 4th

Time: 11 a.m.

Where: Holland Marsh, location site at Highway 400 and Highway 9/Davis Road. (See driving directions below).

Driving Directions:

400 North exit Highway 9. Merge onto Davis Road East (Highway 9). Continue along past Keele St. and turn left onto Dufferin St. (North). Follow Dufferin North into the marsh. At the three-way stop (which has an easement along the canal on the left side) you will find a church and Christian school. Park at the church.
